Winnisquam Lake Hosts Find Invasive Hitchhiker

We want to give a shout out to the WWN's awesome lake hosts, Deb Williams and Barb Chapman, who are back inspecting boats launching at the public ramp in Laconia this summer. They've already scored one "save" this season when they found this piece of invasive water chestnut hitchhiking on someone's boat trailer. Please be sure to thank them next time you're at the ramp, and always remember to thoroughly clean, drain and dry your boats, trailers and gear before launching.
